Confess your sins NOT just to God BUT also with each other!

To God all sin is sin. We must have right relationship with God and man. The Spirit of god which is the holy spirit convicts people of their sin , also comforts, speaks truth and testifies about Jesus Christ, brings righteousness corrects, reproves and instructs .The holy spirit has the ability to draw the sinner to repentance and comforts and helps us in our weaknesses, troubles and our prayers. Our responsibility is to genuinely repent, humble ourselves in confessing the sin, and ask for forgiveness from each other as well as from God. we see many verses regarding confessing sins
Ezra found mercy when he prayed in Ezra 9:6

Nehemiah found mercy as he came before God in Nehemiah 1:5-7

Daniel found mercy praying to the Lord and confessing in Daniel 9:4-7

The apostle Paul found mercy in 1Timothy 1:12-17

Joseph’s brothers asking for his forgiveness in Genesis 50:17-18

Unbelievers denies the reality of sin itself and are often filled with pride, self centeredness and they refuse to admit sin and repent rejects to take a responsibility for their actions, refuses to repent. They rationalize and look for excuses to justify their sins. They make every attempt to justify their wrong doing and claim that there was nothing wrong in their doing.

Satan wants us to be filled with pride, self righteous, self-centeredness, lies, to be boasters of sin and Shame and to be his captives and servant of unrighteousness.

Benefits of confessing sins with eachother: Confessing sins with each other brings us close to God gives relief, eases the heavy loads of guilt and shame in our conscience. It gives an opportunity to examine ourselves, conscience, and our behaviour . It lessen the burden of sin, brings inner peace and emotional healing, builds trust in relationships which helps our ability to live a healthy life, emotionally, spiritually and physically.

What are your excuses to justify sin and to remain in ungodliness? What does Gods word say when you justify?

People who want to live in sinful ungodly life will have lots of excuses, some even may claim as their personality , and some may say God made me that way, some may even say split personality, or bipolar etc , some even may use the Bible to justify their unholy lifestyles.

Men throughout the Bible were commanded to be morally perfect (Genesis 17:1-2; Deuteronomy 7:6; 18:13; I Chronicles 28:9; I Kings 8:61; Matthew 5:48; Exodus 22:31; 14:2,21; 26:19; 28:9; II Corinthians 13:9-11; I Peter 1:15-16); and many men such as Job, Noah, David, Asa, the parents of John the Baptist, and many others were mentioned to be morally perfect (Job 1; Genesis 6:9; Psalms 18:30-36; 101:2-3: I Kings 15:14; 20:3; Luke 1:6). That is not to say that they never sinned, but that they repented and became sinless.

The wicked justifies their wrong doing!

No sin is excusable or permissible in the Christian's life. God hates all sin and wants us to forsake all sin as his children. Wicked men know about God But they refuse to honor and thank God, refuse to obey his commandments and laws. The wicked people choose to against God and then God allows their sinful desires to control them. These wicked people refuse God’s truth, prefer lie and justify their wrong doings.

There are lots of people who fail to acknowledge their sins, faults, mistakes or wrong doing. They are unrepentant concerning their sin, often rationalize and look for excuses to justify their sins. They make every attempt to justify their wrong doing and claim that there was nothing wrong in their doing but the Holy Bible Clearly says it’s wrong. There are lots of professing Christians living spiritually defeated lives because of their unrighteous acts such as adultery, lust, temptation, addiction to tobacco, smoking, drugs, immodestly dressed women, drunkenness to gambling, divorce, living together, premarital sex, pornography, sexual perversions etc , they tried to justify their sin gradually develop a rebellious spirit. The world today is filled with religious apostates... "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof..." (2nd Timothy 3:5). Proverb 28:4, “They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.”
http://www.catholic.org/national/national_story.php?id=37070

We can see this in Proverb 30:20, “Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.”Here the adulterous women broken the seventh Commandment of the Ten Commandments which God gave to Moses. "Thou shalt not commit adultery," Exodus 20:14.

Even the abortionists attempt to justify their sins. They attempt to say that they have not done any wickedness but they ignore Gods commandments Exodus 20:13 tells us, "Thou shalt not kill."

The goal of many women today is not dressing to be Godly and covering up nakedness, but rather to be sexy. A swimsuit will expose nakedness and I have seen some men and women defending themselves that swimsuit will cover important parts. We think that if we get on a swimsuit, our genitals are covered and we are clothed. God says no, you don't just cover your genitals. You cover the thigh. Plus the swimsuit shows off the form and the figure, and is not shamefacedness. It doesn't flow. It is not long. It is not modest. The Bible says we are not to be conformed to the world. Scripture calls us to live and dress modestly, not to gratify the flesh. It calls us to do everything to the glory of God: wearing bathing suits that are designed to cause men to lust and women to publicly display their bodies is the opposite of glorifying God.

Those who claim to "love the Lord," and yet wear these styles, testify to little more than their lack of discernment and confused loyalties. They put their personal reputation and the integrity of their Christian witness at risk. The Bible speaks of those that are "double-minded," and warns that they are "unstable" in all their ways and receive nothing from the Lord (James 1:7, 8). More serious, particularly in the church, they pose an unholy distraction and a stumbling block for others. Scripture is clear: it’s fundamentally a matter of discernment, self-discipline, and self-control (Mark 9:47; Rom. 12:2; 1 Thess. 4:3-8; Titus 2:6). We are living in evil times, when unrepentant sinners are trying to justify every sin imaginable with the Bible. Modesty in dress reveals a modesty and godliness of the heart, attitudes that should be the desire of all women who live to please and honor God.

Smoking does not glorify God. Smoking becomes addictive which makes a slave out of those who use it, it is a bad witness for the Christ, it may be harmful to others, and causes for our weaker brethren to stumble.

So many people today are committing horrible sins, twisting the Scriptures in a sinful attempt to say, "I have done no wickedness."

God DESTROYED the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because of their wickedness as an EXAMPLE to all who would live ungodly.( 2nd Peter 2:6, Jude 1:7).

Hundreds of suspects for all kinds of crimes, from petty theft to murder. Very few of these suspects ever wanted to admit they had done wrong. In fact, almost all of them started by declaring their innocence. And I may not see ourselves as guilty as a murderer, but we still need to see ourselves as the sinners we are. You and I HAVE DONE WRONG! And God is waiting for us to admit that. The more you love God, the more you hate evil, because God and evil are opposites. The less you hate evil, the less you love God. When your hatred and opposition to evil grows weak, you need to realize that this is because your love for God has grown weak. Our liberal society rebels against all forms of opposition to evil. They try to make Christians appear to be wrong if we speak against sin. The call us "hatemongers" and "antis" and "bashers." sinners misunderstand and pervert sermons and the truths they teach, because of their own bad state of mind. Sinful world isn't willing to admit their sinfulness. They don't want to be REPROVED of their sins. You cannot get saved without admitting your guilt and justly deserved condemnation under God's Law (Romans 3:19). For those who have not repented, consider now the Judgment and the consequences of remaining in your sins!

I confess but I can not repent!

We see in Acts 17:30,God commands all men everywhere to repent .Even Christ came to call sinners to repentance not the righteous. God call us to repent when we have forgotten and offended him and living in sin or in unrighteous ways.

There lots of people who do not want to repent truly and if they do, they do merely do lip service of repentance .They fail to acknowledge their sins. After their lip service they go right back and sin again. That is not true repentance.

There are also different kind of people who have enough pride who are not willing to look bad, will gladly say sorry” through lip service to save their image. They think if you just say sorry is repentance. This is not true repentance either.

There are few others who think that by saying formula of sinners prayer will save them without being genuinely REPENTED of their sins. Some false preachers say that you can gladly receive Christ without following Him or without obeying his commandments they strengthen the hands of evildoers, comforting them in their sin rather than calling them to repentance humble themselves to Turn from sin.

True repentance is that we must first acknowledge our sins or wrong doing in our heart and have sincere remorse or regret about one’s wrong doing. Then the Holy Spirit draws us to Jesus Christ by convicting us of sin which produces a life of holiness and righteousness that comes by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus and the Apostles preached that man must repent and have a complete change of mind and heart in order to enter the Kingdom of God.

There are lots of scriptures which tell us that God wants us to repent.
