Lord hears the prayer of the righteous!

The righteous man is the one who listen to God, who fear God and who do not practices his own righteousness but he lives according to the Scriptures and Gods ways .He makes a great relationship with God as his top priority. Gods word says that eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer” (1 Peter 3:12; Psalm 34:15), and, again, “the prayer of the upright pleases Him” (Proverbs 15:8).

When a righteous man prays, there is a humble request, he recognizes God's sovereign power. In Exodus 14:15-16, Moses prayed and the Red sea parted. In1 Kings 18:36-38, Elijah prayed and fire came down from heaven. In Acts 4:12-16, the disciples prayed and people were healed. The people prayed and the disciples were released from prison (Acts 12:1-17) and brought back from the dead (Acts 14:19-20). Prayer saved the righteous Daniel from the lion’s den in Daniel 6:11, and in the wilderness, God’s chosen people benefitted enormously from Moses’ right standing with God in Exodus 16–17. The barren Hannah’s steadfast and humble prayers resulted in the prophet Samuel in 1 Samuel 1:20, and the apostle Paul’s prayers even caused the earth to shake in Acts 16:25-26.

God does not answer wayward self-centered Prayers: “You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.” (James 4:2, 3)

We need to remain steadfast in prayers at all times. Prayer is the communication with God which involves listening and talking to the Lord. Prayer makes us closer to God. When we pray according to the Word of God, our prayers are effective which carry authority and power. James 5:15-18 says and the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Laying hands on people is found all through the Bible .When you pray for others it’s better to lay hands on them, bless them and pray for them .There is an intimacy and bond that comes from laying hands on others and praying for them that goes beyond just simply praying for a person.

Scriptures say “laying on of hands” is a powerful gesture of blessing that may be appropriate in a variety of circumstances .It can be performed on the sick to restore health.Any special anointing-Spirit-filled believers can lay hands on the sick in faith and will be healed or receive the Holy Spirit. And we read in scriptures that Jesus continued this Rite by reaching out his hand, gently touching those in need as he healed them. Jesus blessed the children by the laying on of hands (Matthew 19:15, Mat.9:18; Mar.16:15-18; Act.14:3).

Some times laying on hands will not have any power because its merely performed as a symbolic act and the person who lays hands is not right with God and doesn’t have enough faith to perform miracles and healings.

May the Lord teach us to pray effectively, according to his will and help us to walk in his righteousness!

Pray for others!

Intercession is praying to God on behalf of others who needs our prayers for God's intervention.
Jesus Christ is our model for intercessory prayer. Jesus set the example and He prayed for others and taught His followers to pray like him. (Luke 22:32, Luke 23:34, Romans 8:34, John 17:6-26)

God says to offer prayers for those who murmur against God(Numbers 14:19), Those who forsake us(2 Timothy 4:16)and envy us(Numbers 12:13), for the Enemies among whom we dwell(Jeremiah 29:7), for the sick people(James 5:14), Persecutors(Matthew 5:44), Friends(Job 42:8), Children(Matthew 15:22, Genesis 17:18), Servants(Luke 7:2-3) and masters(Genesis 24:12-14),for All men( 1 Timothy 2:1) and All saints(Ephesians 6:18), for the Church(Psalms 122:6), Ministers(2 Corinthians 1:11)Kings and All in authority. (1 Timothy 2:2).

The Bible has many cases of people standing up for others and praying before God 1.Abrahm prayed for Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 18:20-33.

2. Moses Prayed and Interceded For Israel in Exodus 32:11-13, Exodus 32:31-32.

3. Stephen Prayed For His Murderers At The Point Of His Death in Acts 7:60

4. Daniel was a man of prayers. he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees 3 times a day and prayed(Daniel 6:10 ) .He Prayed for the Sins of His People in Daniel 9:1-3.

5. Nehemiah Prayed Identifying With The Sins Of His People in Nehemiah 1:3-11.

6. Ezra prayed Identifying with the Sins of His People in Ezra 9:6-15.

7. Elijah prayed God to Reveal Himself to the People in I Kings 18:36-37.

8. Paul's Prayed For Ephesians in Ephesians 3:14-20), for Philippians in Philippians 1:9-11) and for Colossians in Colossians 1:9-17)

God says if any one of us is sick He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord(James 5:14).He commands us to confess the sins with each other so that we can be healed (James 5:16) and that the PRAYER OF FAITH SHALL SAVE THE SICK which says in James 5:15.

Pray, Pray, Pray without ceasing! May God bless us as we pray for others!

God Bless!

The 5 Finger Prayer

The “Five Finger Prayer” is a simple, yet effective, way to pray.

We were separated from God by sin (Romans 3:23). But because Jesus paid for our sin on the cross we now “have access by one Spirit to the Father,” (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:18). Those who receive Jesus as their Savior become “children of God” (John 1:12).

So even though God is “great and mighty in power” (Psalm 147:4), we are His children and He is always thinking of us, “How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!” If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand!” (Psalm 139:17-18)

He is always ready to bend His ear to hear our prayers and so we’re encouraged to “come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).

The Five Finger Prayer is a simple guide we can use when we pray.

1) Your Thumb is nearest to you

So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C.S. Lewis once said “sweet duty.”

While praying for our loved ones is easy the Bible also tells us to pray for our enemies who, in a negative way, are also near us.

“Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. (Matthew 5:44) And again, “Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate when people say unkind things about you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God wants you to do, and he will bless you for it.” (1 Peter 3:9)

2) The next finger is the Pointing Finger

The pointing finger reminds us of those who instruct so pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers. These men and women have great influence on society and we should pray that they display and teach godly principles in all they do.

3) The next finger is the Tallest Finger

Our tallest finger reminds us of those who are in charge. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God’s guidance.

When the king of Nineveh prayed to God he saved his nation from destruction (Jonah 3:6-10). We should pray that our decision makers repent and seek God’s will as they lead us.

4) The fourth finger is our Ring Finger

The ring finger is our weakest finger, as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

The Bible tells us that all who believe in Christ are “one body” (1 Corinthians 12:12) and that we are to “bear one another burdens”. We should “pray for one another,” James 5:16 tells us that, because “the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Praying for others is a way of serving those around us and serving is what gives us purpose to life. “If you love Me,” Jesus said, “feed My sheep.” Praying for those in need is one way to feed Christ’s sheep.

5) And lastly comes our Little Finger

The smallest finger of all. Which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, “The least shall be the greatest among you.” Your Pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself.

By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.

When praying for ourselves we should first confess our sins because sin breaks fellowship with God and we don’t want to be out of fellowship with Him. No matter how badly we’ve sin take heart and know that “He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

Then we should give thanks for all the blessings we have been given, “Offer to God thanksgiving, and pray your vows to the Most High” (Psalm 50:14)

And finally we lay out what is on our heart, the good and the bad, and we pray that God’s will be done in our life. The Father loves you very much and will always do what is best for you. Trust Him and He will lead you and cause all things to work together for the good of those who love Him. (Romans 8:28)

Prayer for Sick Children!

Prayer is the most effective spiritual weapon in defeating the enemy. When sickness comes we need to rebuke the symptoms in the name of Jesus and Release the Blood of Jesus Christ against them because Jesus had paid for our sickness on the cross and by his stripes we are healed. Our main Focus should be the faith and the power of God and not on the wisdom of man or the medical reports.

Lord I Thank You for the benefits and provision of the blood of Jesus Christ and I apply the blood of Jesus upon my child’s body from the top of her head to the soles of her feet and cleanse her from all sickness ,diseases and sins.

Let the blood of Jesus stand against any hidden sickness and diseases.

I rebuke and cast out all kinds of fever, viral infections, and pains in my Childs body in the name of Jesus Christ and through his Blood.

I speak healing and strength to each and every part of my child’s body and mind in the name of Jesus Christ.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ , I rebuke, break and loose: myself my child and my family members from any and all evil curses, every spirit of infirmity, ancestral sins, generational curses, heredity problems, demonic holds, psychic powers, physical and mental illness ,family and marital curses. Through the blood of Jesus my child has been redeemed out of every sickness and she is healed completely and has the life of God in her.

I confess that my child’s body is a temple of God and the Holy Spirit; she is redeemed, cleansed, sanctified, by the blood of Jesus. Therefore sickness, diseases and Satan has no place in her life, no more power over her life, because of the blood of Jesus Christ.

It is God's will that my child prospers and be in good health, just as her soul prospers.

The faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and the Word of God will together raise my child up from the sick bed through healing miracle .I hold the blood of Jesus as a shield of protection against any power of sickness and diseases, viruses, or illnesses that could come against my child in her life, in Jesus’ name. I praise and thank You Lord God for my child’s deliverance and healing. Amen.

Enjoy your perfect health through Gods healing and deliverance!

I affirm the people of Japan are safe in Your Arms, in your loving protection by seeking you above all, by surrendering every area of their life to you now and forever. Amen

May God bless you as you continue to pray for Japan.

Keep praying until you get God's result!

The word pray occurs 365 times in the Bible. God wants us to pray earnestly with patience and persistence not just one time and then forget it. When we read scriptures we can see many examples of people who lived by faith got many blessings. In Abel, we have the worship of faith, In Enoch, the walk of faith. In Noah, the witness of faith, In Abraham, the wandering of faith, In Sarah, the waiting of faith, In Moses, the work of faith. God answers prayers for those who seek God with all the heart, those who ask according to his will and return to him, those who ask in faith and wait upon him, those who fear the Lord and Keep his commandments, those who are humble, righteous, poor, in distress and needy. He can answer the prayer immediately or sometimes delayed.

God knows our need even before we ask him (Matthew 6:8). We must ask according to His will with confession of sin. "And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:" ( 1 John 5:14).

Some people might say that we must not ask God continually for the things we need, want or desire because God knows everything and if you ask again and again the same thing it becomes lack of faith or vain repetions .There is nothing wrong asking the same thing again and again. When we ask same thing from God over and over again we are asking Gods direction, Gods answers and comfort and encouragement in our troubles.

A vain repetition of the heathen is condemned in Mathew 6:7. Which says “But when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him”.

So vain repetition is not saying that we shouldn't repeat a prayer, but we should not pray to show off or just a mindless mouthing of words without understanding or meaning or a prayer said for a formality rather approaching God with respect, proper attention, humble submission, undisturbed, undistracted understanding having full confidence in His promises by seeking and obeying God with all our heart and soul.

In Mathew 26;36-45, we have Jesus praying in the garden just before His death, and we read that He prayed the same prayer three times almost word for word. It records the text of the prayer and it is three separate prayers, even though it was during one particular period of prayer. In fact, When Jesus prayed all night long in Luke 6:12 did he not repeat his prayers? His main focus was on GOD Almighty saving him from the crucifixion. Jesus' prayers all night long, which obviously were far more than just 3 times, were repetition after repetition after repetition and in (1 Thessalonians 5:17)we read that we should pray without ceasing. In other words, Jesus was not criticizing “repetitions” of prayer, but condemning Hypocritical Prayer. Jesus himself says in Luke 18:1 "And he spake a parable unto them to the end that they ought always to pray, and not to faint”.

The hypocrites pray to impress others or to gain respect or to gain the attention from others. They do not pray with sincere and humble heart. When Paul prayed for the Ephesians (Ephesians 1:16-17) , he prayed the same request over and over again that they would increase in their knowledge of God.

Angels pray repetitiously in Revelation 4:8: "...and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come."

Martin G. Collins commentary says “God often answers us after long and persevering requests. He hears prayers and grants blessings long after they appear to be unanswered or withheld. He does not promise to give blessings immediately. He promises only that He will do it according to His will and plan. Although He promises to answer the prayer of the faithful, often He requires us to wait a long time to try our faith. He may allow us to persevere for months or years, until we are completely dependent on Him, until we see that there is no other way to receive the blessing, and until we are prepared to receive it. Sometimes, we are not ready to receive a blessing when we first ask. We may be too proud, or we may not comprehend our dependence upon Him. Maybe we would not value it, or the timing for it may simply be wrong. If what we ask for is good and accords with God's will, He will give it at the best time possible.”

Pray for each other: Jesus Christ is our perfect model for intercessory prayer (John 17:6-26) .Gods word says that we should pray for one another (Ephesians 6:18; James 5:16, 1Tim 2: 1-2). We ought to pray for one another even when there are no problems or troubles. In Galatians 6:2 we are told to bear one another’s burdens. When we pray for each other our spiritual growth increases and we grow closer in our relationship with God. We see many examples in the scriptures where people have prayed on behalf of others: Paul sought prayer on his behalf from all the Roman believers in Romans 15:30. Paul also urged the Colossians to intercede for him in Colossians 4:3.

Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him in Acts 12:5. Here the whole church that prayed for him, not just those with a gift of intercession.

Here is another example of Paul's prayer for his friends and fellow believers in city of Philippi: "This is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11

When we are in pain or suffering the Holy Spirit comes to our help and makes intercession on our behalf which says in Romans 8:26.

Moses Interceded For Israel in Exodus 32:11-13, Exodus 32:31-32, Paul Prayed For The Ephesians in Ephesians 3:14-20. Stephen Prayed For His Murderers, At The Point Of His Death in Acts 7:60. Nehemiah Daniel and Ezra prayed Identifying With The Sins Of His People in Nehemiah 1:3-11, Daniel 9:4-19, Ezra 9:6-15.

In 1 Kings 19:10-18 where Elijah intercedes with God about the Israelite nation who have turned away from God and killed the prophets and now want to kill Elijah.

Other supporting scriptures:

Psalm 55:17: Evening and morning, and at noon, I will pray and cry aloud; and He shall hear my voice.

Colossians 4:2: Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 4:16: Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

James 5:13-16: Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

So Never give up! Don’t stop praying!.

Prayer

By unknown

I knelt to pray but not for long, I had too much to do.

I had to hurry and get to work...For bills would soon be due.

So I knelt and said a hurried prayer, And jumped up off my knees.

My Christian duty was now done My soul could rest at ease.....

All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer

No time to speak of Christ to friends, They'd laugh at me I'd fear.

No time, no time, too much to do, That was my constant cry,

No time to give to souls in need But at last the time, the time to die.

I went before the Lord, I came, I stood with downcast eyes.

For in his hands God held a book; It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said "Your name I cannot find.

I once was going to write it down...But never found the time"

Now do you have the time to pass it on?

Dental Miracle by Our Lord Jesus Christ!

I wanted to let everybody know that my experience with Dentist Dr.Sanford N. Schwartz was by far the most pleasant dental experience I have ever had. The staff was all friendly and sincere. My previous Dentists had told me to undergo Root canal procedure and one of them even said I have a crack tooth. They all have taken several x rays about my tooth. I don’t have a pain tolerance and I had a bad experience with my previous dentists and I was very scared of dental Doctors. But Dr. Sanford Schwartz told me that he don’t see anything to undergo Root canal procedure, he can not see nothing in the X – Ray, everything seems to be fine and he do not know why the previous doctors have told me to undergo Root canal. All he said was that I have a sensitivity tooth and told me to undergo desensitizing the sensitive tooth and to use a Prescription Fluoride toothpaste and I did that, it helped me a lot. Before I had a problem in chewing hard stuff. I had a severe pain on the upper left side tooth. I was not biting anything on the left side because of severe pain. Now I am able to chew and there is no pain. I believe that God has healed me. I am so very happy that my tooth got better without root canal surgery. God healed me through this Dentist .God has always been good to me he always creates too many miracles in my life. Every impossible thing is possible with our Lord Jesus Christ. Once Again I am giving another testimony of his miracle and healing. The power of prayer and the Power of Precious Blood of Jesus Christ are really amazing. Jesus bore our sicknesses so that we may be healed. By His Stripes I am Healed. I can overcome anything in the world with the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ! I praise and thank you Jesus for loving me so much and creating wonderful miracles all the time in my life. I believe God’s Miracles all the time. GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS if you truly seek him and trust him with all your heart and soul. Jesus said that all things are possible to him he who believes. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8.

Praise the Lord for his love and mercy! Amen
