Lord hears the prayer of the righteous!

The righteous man is the one who listen to God, who fear God and who do not practices his own righteousness but he lives according to the Scriptures and Gods ways .He makes a great relationship with God as his top priority. Gods word says that eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer” (1 Peter 3:12; Psalm 34:15), and, again, “the prayer of the upright pleases Him” (Proverbs 15:8).


When a righteous man prays, there is a humble request, he recognizes God's sovereign power. In Exodus 14:15-16, Moses prayed and the Red sea parted. In1 Kings 18:36-38, Elijah prayed and fire came down from heaven. In Acts 4:12-16, the disciples prayed and people were healed. The people prayed and the disciples were released from prison (Acts 12:1-17) and brought back from the dead (Acts 14:19-20). Prayer saved the righteous Daniel from the lion’s den in Daniel 6:11, and in the wilderness, God’s chosen people benefitted enormously from Moses’ right standing with God in Exodus 16–17. The barren Hannah’s steadfast and humble prayers resulted in the prophet Samuel in 1 Samuel 1:20, and the apostle Paul’s prayers even caused the earth to shake in Acts 16:25-26.

God does not answer wayward self-centered Prayers: “You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.” (James 4:2, 3)

We need to remain steadfast in prayers at all times. Prayer is the communication with God which involves listening and talking to the Lord. Prayer makes us closer to God. When we pray according to the Word of God, our prayers are effective which carry authority and power. James 5:15-18 says and the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Laying hands on people is found all through the Bible .When you pray for others it’s better to lay hands on them, bless them and pray for them .There is an intimacy and bond that comes from laying hands on others and praying for them that goes beyond just simply praying for a person.

Scriptures say “laying on of hands” is a powerful gesture of blessing that may be appropriate in a variety of circumstances .It can be performed on the sick to restore health.Any special anointing-Spirit-filled believers can lay hands on the sick in faith and will be healed or receive the Holy Spirit. And we read in scriptures that Jesus continued this Rite by reaching out his hand, gently touching those in need as he healed them. Jesus blessed the children by the laying on of hands (Matthew 19:15, Mat.9:18; Mar.16:15-18; Act.14:3).

Some times laying on hands will not have any power because its merely performed as a symbolic act and the person who lays hands is not right with God and doesn’t have enough faith to perform miracles and healings.

May the Lord teach us to pray effectively, according to his will and help us to walk in his righteousness!

TVs and Cartoons are destroying Christian families!

We Christians are in a spiritual battle. TV and cartoon have become Gods in America


We'll either walk after the Spirit of God or we'll walk after our corrupted flesh. We sit for hundreds of hours a year in front of our TV idol, but don't spend anytime praising or thanking God Who sent His only begotten Son into the world to die for us.The three primary divisions of sin, according to 1 John 2:16, are the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Clearly the Bible says we should think about: “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things” (Philippians 4:8).cartoons is not true, it is not noble, it is not right, it is not pure, it is not lovely, it is not admirable neither excellent nor praiseworthy. addictive (1 Corinthians 6:12; 2 Peter 2:19), destructive (Proverbs 6:25-28; Ezekiel 20:30; Ephesians 4:19), and leads to ever-increasing wickedness (Romans 6:19).

The Children who watch too much cartoons on television are more likely to have mental and emotional problems, along with brain and eye injuries and unexpectedly the risk of a physical problem increases.

Children who consistently spend more than 4 hours per day watching TV are more likely to be overweight. TV shows promoting adultery, fornication, euthanasia, witchcraft, New Age, spiritualism, homosexuality, sex changes, feminism, abortion, gambling, prostitution, violence, intolerance towards Christians, lasciviousness, and pride. God will NOT continue to bless us if we keep committing wickedness and continue to live in sin. Matthew 6:33 teach us to seek "first" the kingdom of God and His righteousness? When they focus on TV and cartoon shows they have hardly have any time in worshipping or spending time with prayer and thanks giving.

In I Thessalonians 5:22. If it's evil, then we have no business looking at it. David said, "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes. . ." David knew from personal experience that looking at the wrong thing could be very harmful. Before he ever committed his sin with Bathsheba, he first allowed his eyes to LOOK upon her nude body (II Sam. 11:2). In Joshua 7:21, Achan sinned after he SAW the "Babylonish garment." In Eden, Eve sinned after she feasted her eyes upon the forbidden fruit (Gen. 3:6). Many of the most popular shows today focus on the worst that mankind has to offer, and evil is glorified as good (2 Timothy 3:1-5; Isaiah 5:20). Television becomes so important to you that it edges out your spiritual priorities and gives importance’s to worldly matters.

There are some wicked Christians or believers who live with the devil six days a week, and then go to church on Sunday to play religion game. They guzzle their beer, tell dirty jokes, gaze with unholy looks at the opposite sex, curse in God's name, watch godless TV shows, mistreat their spouse, gossip, hurt others...and then dress their best to deceive the crowd every Sunday. God hates such people.

Some TV hosts uses their show to promote spiritualism, abortion, New Age, homosexuality, sex changes, and a host of other evils. With Satanic shows like Sabrina, Witches, and Charmed...it's no surprise that Wicca Witchcraft is flourishing around the world and children can't get enough thanks to the godless Harry Potter. The TV has been used as a tool by the devil to create a nation of ungodliness. Most people have become indifferent (Matthew 24:12). The television has been an instrument of EVIL since its inception because of the wickedness of the men and women who control it.

Our society has forgotten the powerful verse "Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things." -Philippians 3:19

What you are doing by watching TV's filth...having pleasure in watching other people commit adultery, murder, fornication, homosexuality, and every other form of wickedness imaginable. "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." -Romans 1:28-32.

The TV and cartoon shows is being used to destroy American families spiritually. Wicked entertainers are helping to further promote America's declining morality through their sensual and lascivious performances. No wonder sexual crimes are running rampant in America. We need to remember and put into practice Romans 12:1: I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. We were created to glorify God. We can live our lives to God’s glory. Godliness is being godly in our behavior. Our Godliness shows how we talk, how we dress, the way we give, the way we think and feel. Worldliness weakens and destroys our love and respect for God and sets us in opposition to His will. One becomes worldly when he loves the things the world does. We tend to become like those with whom we associate. "Do not be deceived, evil company corrupts good morals" (1 Corinthians 15:33). We are not to participate in the sinful deeds of the world but, "Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord" (2 Corinthians 6:17).



We must carefully choose those with whom we associate. "I am a companion of all who fear You, and of those who keep Your precepts" (Psalms 119:63). We are to "have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11). It is not sufficient just to abstain from the evil practices but we must also speak up against them. Worldliness begins with wanting to fit in and to get along with the world. We cannot be both worldly and godly; they do not mix. "Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God" (James 4:4). We are to "Abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul" (1 Peter 2:11). "For if you live according to the flesh you will die" (Romans 8:13). This is a spiritual death, which is being separated from God in the eternal fires of Hell. Partaking of sinful acts against God is a sin no matter how large, or small. We must first acknowledge our God-given roles. Being a good parent is all about raising children who will follow your example in obeying and worshipping the Lord and their by we make a difference in the world becoming a Godly family and eventually a good citizens.
