2 Corinthians 5:6-8 tells us that when Christians are absent from the body they are present with the Lord. Here’s a list of ten things the Bible says happens to Christians after they die.
1) We Are Received By Christ
“Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” – Acts 7:59
2) We Are Escorted By Angels To Heaven
“So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom.” – Luke 16:22
3) We Are Greeted By Christ
“But Stephen, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” – Acts 7:55-56
4) We Enter Into The Joy Of The Lord
