Homeschooling and Socialization of a child!

Homeschooling child are raised very outgoing, very respectful and Politeful but most of the public school kid’s behavior is rude and inconsiderate. There might be very few very countable whose behavior is very good and kind. Our public education systems have become training grounds for immorality, drug addiction, deviant behavior and learned violence instead of basic knowledge. Homeschooled children consistently outscore public school children. Homeschooling allows parents the freedom to associate with other interested parties, visit local businesses, museums, libraries, home school support groups, church activities etc. as part of school, and to interact with people of all ages in the community. Being around adults setting good examples of manners is far better than being around peers who don’t have any. Manners are best taught in the home, with loving guidance, rather than in the schools with shame. Many students also go to public schools and sell drugs. In private schools everything is hidden and private. Home school students have demonstrated leadership ability, are better socialized and more mature than their public school counterparts, have a higher self-esteem than conventional students, are less concerned about peers when compared with private school students. Young children from the teasing, bullying and negative peer pressure that occurs in public schools. Homeschoolers avoid harmful school environments where God is mocked, where destructive peer influence is the norm, where drugs, alcohol, promiscuity and homosexuality are promoted, and where school violence is on the rise. Public school students are exposed to verbal and physical assault, drug abuse, and sexual misconduct. Children who learn at home do so in an environment free of mental, physical and emotional abuse.

Socialization doesn't just occur within the walls of a traditional school. Schooled children are largely affected by their peers’ prejudices, peers who carry with them their parent’s attitudes about other cultures. Kids tend to learn their best socialization skills from activities they do with their own families, not from following the in-crowd at school.

In school children learn to to disregard other cultures, taunting and teasing them because of their differences. There are many public and private schooled children who have poor social skills. The parents are responsible for their children’s socialization. This is the case no matter if your child attends a public or private school or is homeschooled. Parents must ensure their children are involved in activities outside the home. These may include sports, music classes, church activities, art, and the like. The more children are involved in activities outside the home the more likely they will be to develop normal social skills.

Home schooling gives you more control over the influences that can affect your child. Parents get involved in every step of the learning procedure. Individual attention is another great benefit of Home schooling. Home schooling allows parents to take control over the moral and religious learning of the child. There is no confusion in the child's mind either because there is no variation between what is being taught and what is being practiced.

As a Christian parent, your faith is the most important factor in your family’s lives. When you elect to home school, it will present consistent opportunities to impart your values to your children. Instead of keeping your beliefs separate from your child’s education, your Christian home school will be a solid base for your child’s spiritual growth on a daily basis. When you have the opportunity to incorporate Christian principles into your child’s education, his personality will also develop to the highest standards. It will benefit him in his everyday life, and in the future. Parents can guide their children to other Christian families with like minded morals and values.

The benefits of a Christian home school include excellence in education. When your child graduates, he will have all of the knowledge he needs for success in life.

Your Christian home school will put your child’s education in your own hands. The parent who home schools can recognize the positive difference which this makes in his child. Although it is important for a parent to oversee his child’s curriculum, the parent and child interaction which is present in homeschooling is even more significant. The individualized attention which your child gains will help him to learn more, feel a more distinct sense of pride in his accomplishments, and benefit from your presence. When you give your child your time in your Christian home school, you are giving him much more than a quality education. You are giving of yourself, and teaching this value to him.

Whether your child’s future plans include higher education, immediate employment, the military, or a role in his own family, your Christian home school is the very best foundation for his future goals. He will not only have the finest quality education, but personal and spiritual development as well. There is no better gift that you can give to your child than the years of learning which you provide for him in your Christian home school.

  2. I do have to say that the children who are home schooled here in my community are usually much more advanced in their education than the public school students. Their education seems to be more focused. Nice work. God bless...Paul weaver

  3. Would that we could all just get our children in a school where Jesus as God is clearly the center focus, be it at home or afar. So much false teachings and careful efforts to crush bible belief. Yes, Shaila, the needs of which you speak are overwhelming, and the benefits are enormous. Once again you have rightly divided and relayed the words and purposes of our God. Excellent work.

  4. If given the choice, finacially, I would definetly homeschool. This way the get a Godly foundation for life and in the public schools, they have kicked God out of them. Great work Shaila, as always friend. You know your Bible and are most certainly the best godly mother your children could ever have for a teacher and mother.
