Do you give importance to your "personal opinion" or "God's opinion"?

Many people in this world would prefer to do things in their own way by rejecting Gods way. We see that we all have opinions about one or the other thing in our lives and it is clear that everyone has different opinions but is it matching according to Gods word? Many  people are fighting over their opinions .Whether we do right or wrong it should not be in anyone’s opinion. The true opinion is to be found in the word of God, and God has the absolute authority What ever is wrong in Gods eyes might be right in our eyes because it is our opinion.

God knows what is best for us and hence he has given us the basic principles, laws, commandments governing in every area of our life. Sinful behavior, and sin’s consequences, must always be defined by God’s Word alone, not on any man’s opinion. It is dangerous to form one's opinions apart from the Bible. We ought to follow the teachings of God's Word; and avoid following men. It is not a matter of opinion whether yours, or mine. It is what God declares to be right and to be wrong in that area-! - Matters.

Some people say everyone has different opinions because God created every human different. But is this true?we are created in the image” or “likeness” of God. We know we are created in God's image because the Bible tells us so in Genesis 1:27

That means all humans created in the same way. Man was created in righteousness and perfect innocence, a reflection of God’s holiness. Adam made an evil choice to rebel against his Creator. In so doing, Adam marred the image of God within himself, and he passed that damaged likeness on to all his descendants (Romans 5:12). Today, we still bear the image of God (James 3:9), but we also bear the scars of sin. Mentally, morally, socially, and physically, we show the effects of sin. Through Christ, we are made new creations in the likeness of God (2 Corinthians 5:17).

No matter what an individual's personal opinion on the subject of abortion, homosexuality, adultery, divorce or anything be, the only opinion that will matter at the end of time is God's opinion. Many people act as though that they know more about life than God. We should not have any opinions in conflict with what the Bible teaches, we need to diligently study the word of God and seek Gods opinion in everything and scrutinize the opinions of men whether their opinion will line up with what the Bible says.

There are many people who speak one way and live another. The sad part is that MANY are not evaluating their lives according to God's standards, but rather, according to their own personal opinion or worlds standards. Ultimately, we will be judged by the standard of God's Word not by mans opinion. We can either do it God's way as revealed in the Scriptures or go against God's will or go our own way. We may have the opportunity to tell God what we think some day, but our opinion will not change God's mind. We need to Read our Bible because it is inspired by God and through that we can understand the will of the Lord is for our life and what God thinks about particular topic.

What Scriptures say about opinions?

A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion. Proverbs 18:2

Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written, “That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.” Romans 3:4

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:8

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the ends thereof are the ways of death .Proverbs 14:12

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is." Ephesians 5:23

"...for men to search their own glory is not glory." Proverbs 25:27

Conclusion: It is extremely important to find out God's opinion on every subject and in every matter. Gods’ opinions are best on any topic. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but opinions are just that, and are not to be taken as a substitute or stand-in for doctrinal truth. We need to Trust Him and we will have victory in our own personal life and will become a blessing to all those around us by being a Godly example.
