Why Biblical women never smoked or dressed inappropriately

Smoking Not Only Harms Ones Health It Also Destroys a Christian's Testimony for the Lord. About 419,000 people die each year from cigarette and cigar smoking and that is only in the United States. Smoke defiles the body is readily seen. Smoking/Tobacco causes 20 percent of all deaths in the United States each year . Smoking is also linked to pulmonary diseases, cardiovascular disease. Many profess they love the Lord, but their defeated lives controlled by their addiction to cigarettes places a serious question mark over their professed love for Christ. Regardless of how we may try and justify it. Smoking, and spitting tobacco, is a filthy habit.

Apostle Paul says 2 Cor: 7:1.Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.



The truth is a smoker is an addict and he is already in bondage in much the same way as an alcoholic and is spiritually defeated. We are told in the bible that , "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body"(1 Corinth 6-19-20).Some Christian women have harden their heart become rebellious against Gods word and who discourage them smoking who not only would not admit their sin, but let the Devil use them to defeat.

Smoking becomes addictive which makes a slave out of those who use it, it is a bad witness for the Christ, it may be harmful to others, and causes for our weaker brethren to stumble.We have been commanded by God to live lives of holiness, set apart from the world.A Biblical woman dressed modestly which is differently from the world, they were submissive to their husband, family and God. Biblical women loved to please God hence they avoided all evil and wicked ways of the world..God’s word reminds us that a major part of a woman's beauty is the work that she does in serving others. Modern women pleases devil and dress like a world.God has one place for a man and a different place for a woman. For this cause, in Deuteronomy 22:5 we are commanded: "A woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God." It is a sin for women to appear masculine.the modern, masculine, pants-wearing, cigarette-smoking, bobbed-haired woman has fallen from her pedestal.Biblical women had a heart for the things of God and were striving to live a holy and righteous life, they were not rebellious,She was committed to God's headship order with meek and quiet spirit. They had servant's heart, they never called attention to her physical beauty,they were the woman of prayer and devotion to God,true feminine beauty reflected among them,they were the wife of noble character.In this world, a woman’s appearance is overemphasized to the extreme. Young womenand even young girlsare being taught to dress in ways that incites lust in males, and focuses attention on the self.They smoke and look like a man.A deceitful woman is an ugly woman because she is self-driven and wants her way. Her words and actions lead the man on a path to destruction. A beautiful woman wears heavenly beauty as God's Word describes it.Biblical women honored their bodies because its the temple of God and holy spirit dwells in them hence they never contaminated with smoke or immodest dress.
