The Bible tells us that prostitution is immoral!


Immorality is a world-wide epidemic, and getting worse. Societies throughout history and around the globe have embraced sexual standards that are called sins in the Bible. God’s desire is that we stay sexually pure. God forbids involvement with prostitutes because He knows such involvement is detrimental to both men and women. Some women may have become prostitutes as a way to survive when they no longer were under the protection or care of a husband, father, or other family members.

Prostitution Act of 1996, says Prostitution violates the right to physical and moral integrity by the alienation of women’s sexuality that is appropriated, debased and reduced to a commodity to be bought and sold.

It violates the prohibition of torture and of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment because clients’ acts and practices of sexual 'entertainment' and pornography are acts of power and violence over the female body.

It violates the right to liberty and security, and the prohibition of slavery, of forced labor and of trafficking in persons because millions of women and girls all over the world are held in sexual slavery to meet the demand of even more millions of male buyers of sex, and to generate profits for the capitalists of sex.

It violates the right to enjoy the highest standard of physical and mental health because violence, disease, unwanted pregnancies, unsafe abortions, and AIDS stalk, presenting constant and grave risks for women and girls in prostitution, and militating against a healthy sense of and relationship with their own bodies."

Prostitutes, because of their many partners, have a greatly increased risk of exposure to HIV. They are likewise able to spread HIV to many other partners...

Where prostitution is legalized or tolerated, there is a greater demand for human trafficking victims and nearly always an increase in the number of women and children trafficked into commercial sex slavery...



Whether legal or illegal, prostitution doesn't stop the spread of disease and the devastation of the human soul as well as the disintegration of the culture, society, and nation....families

Some countries and states allow prostitution or even encourage it. This is the very case in the State of Nevada in the United States. State law permits legal prostitution with county commission approval in rural counties. Ten counties have licensed brothels, and Nevada has 26 legal brothels that employ about 300 prostitutes.

Proverbs 23:27-28 says, "For a prostitute is a deep pit and a wayward wife is a narrow well. Like a bandit she lies in wait, and multiplies the unfaithful among men."

"For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil; But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death, Her steps lay hold of hell" (Proverbs 5:3-5)

Proverbs 9:13-18: "A prostitute is loud and brash, and never has enough of lust and shame. She sits at the door of her house or stands at the street corners of the city, whispering to men going by, and to those minding their own business. 'Come home with me,' she urges simpletons. 'Stolen melons are the sweetest; stolen apples taste the best!' But they don’t realize that her former guests are now citizens of hell."

I Thessalonians 4:3,: "It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality.

Exodus 20 14:says, "You shall not commit adultery."

The Bible is very clear we cannot get to heaven while practicing sin. “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

To get grace mercy and forgiveness from living God, the prostitutes must turn away from their sinful lifestyle , must genuinely repent and turn to the living God .

1 Thessalonians 5:21-23: 21 But do test everything - hold onto what is good, 22 but keep away from every form of evil. 23 May the God of shalom make you completely holy - may your entire spirit soul and body be kept blameless for the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
